These are my current folding models. Click on the link beside each photo to get a larger picture and more information. NOTE: All folders now use phosphor bronze washers instead of Nyatron. They’re more of a pain to punch out, but I like the smooth action and extra rigidity. All folder locks are now of the offset radius or “fail safe” design. I’m not sure who invented this, but Bob Terzuola describes it in his book The Tactical Folding Knife. Rather than a flat ramp of fixed angle, this uses a curved ramp that starts out at a negative angle and reverses to an ever-increasing positive angle. The result is that the lock cannot be “ramped” off the blade by closing pressure. The lock is also less susceptible to over-travel, sticking, and premature wear-out. ![]() Okapi ![]() Zephyr ![]()
